Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from shadows reflected on grass. After a few weeks she devised a process that did not create the object she chose on canvas as a flat image. The subject is a mirror of its own, and the canvas carries its own interpretation painted by the object. This is especially true when it is a living item or something perishable, for example, fruit or humans. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral however the photograph is the only thing that remains. Photographs and painting are coordinated to create two-dimensional flat surface which is trompe l'oeil. At certain locations, the third dimensions can be observed, such as close to the eyes or in the hair. Meade has integrated her model paintings into the space of 3D that surrounds the models. The interaction between them and this created world is possible. It eliminates any distinction between painting, photography and installation.
