Lis Wehl, born August 19, 1961 in the United States, is an author and an ex-legal expert at Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. In the past, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer on National Public Radio's show along with the Radio Factor of Bill O'Reilly. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning shows as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl, who was born and grew up in Yakima in Washington State, graduated in Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She received a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's office. She also worked as a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She served as an associate professor of law with tenure on the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. From 2001 until the year 2017 Wiehl was an analyst in the field of law for Fox News.
