Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, California on 19 October 1979. She is a American journalist, sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television presenter. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology and communications from the University of California. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of numerous pro-am tournaments. Sun was sponsored by major brands, such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The fame she gained from the events she took part in which led Sun to the realm of entertainment. Later, she became an investigative filmmaker and journalist, as also a sportscaster. Sun has worked as a news anchor for numerous channels. She was the Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. She also hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. She is the only Asian-American to ever appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun, who is an accomplished actress and has appeared in numerous films she has earned fame due to her talents. She worked on movies including Goliath (2016) and Hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008) as well as Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a movie that focused on the impact of the plastic waste on oceans. She wrote, directed and produced it herself.
