Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, California on 19 October 1979. She is a American journalist, sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television presenter. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology and communications from the University of California. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of numerous pro-am tournaments. She is the only Asian-American to ever appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun, who is an accomplished actress and has appeared in numerous films she has earned fame due to her talents. She worked on movies including Goliath (2016) and Hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008) as well as Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a movie that focused on the impact of the plastic waste on oceans. She wrote, directed and produced it herself.
